Information for tenants

Once you have found a property that you would like to rent it will be necessary for us to take up references. These are taken up through a credit reference agency and you will need to complete our tenancy application form.

Upon completion of all the references Rentapad Residential Lettings will draw up the Tenancy Agreement, arrange the inventory and will transfer of the gas, electric, water and council tax into the tenants name, but would ask that arrangements for the transfer of the telephone are made direct with the supplier.

Deposit

A security deposit, is payable usually equal to one calender month rental.

Rent in advance

The first calender months rent is payable by cleared funds (cash, debit or credit card, bankers draft or transfer) on commencement of the tenancy or before.

Insurance

The landlord will be responsible for the insuring of the building and his or her own contents but the tenant will need to insure his or her own goods. Should the tenant require this insurance, then we would be happy to arrange this cover for you from a specialist insurer.

Fees

There is a one off fee for tenants with no hidden charges.
